Original Prototype
Fully automatic aquarium water exchanger would be accomplished by an in-line water pump, a HOB filter and various sensor for the purpose of detecting water level and water quality. The water tap was directly connected with the HOB filter by PVC pipe to provide the clean water into the fish tank. And the Float switch sensor will be detecting the water level inside of fish tank to prevent overflow, When the enough water is delivered then the sensor will send the signal to solenoid valve to close the water tap. Water quality is constantly detected by oxygen and laser sensor, once the sensors indicate the quality of water is lower than the reference level then send the signal to the in-line water pump to drain out the dirty water inside of fish tank. Simultaneously, the float switch sensor sends the signal to solenoid valve which attached to water tap to provide water into the system to maintain constant water level.
