When developing a new design, it is important to first look at the designs that currently exist. This helps avoid the imitation of a current design, and allows the creators to take aspects of already existing designs and implement them into their own. Doing this will allow for the best possible final product. Each group member in our team look both a unique patent and a unique scholarly article regarding a product with similar aspects to our design. This was done to ensure that we collected as much information that already exists before finalizing our design.
